As the global population increases, global waste is also rising by the day. It is said that textile waste has increased 811% since 1960 (EPA data), flushing out 1 million ton waste every year. According to reports, 2.01 Billion ton of solid waste was produced in 2016, amounting to a footprint of 0.74 KG, per person a day. It is assumed that annual waste generation would increase by 70% from 2016 levels to 3.40 billion ton in 2050.
We might be a small blip in this big industry but we want to do our part. Our recycled fabric ornaments are made from fabric scarps we buy in bulk from apparel manufactures in India, making each piece unique.
